1970's Golden Cufflinks, with Centaur (half
man, half horse) Design
These bold and stylish Goldtone cufflinks,
are designed with a fabulous image of a Centaur, half man and half horse.
The image rises out of the background, probably invertly embossed or
moulded. The Centaur is a mythological character, often characterised in
old tales and stories as wise, strange and rare people, generally living a
solitary life in the woods or hilly country. A noble being, a Centaur has
the legs and body of a large horse and the torso, arms and head of a man.
These stylish cufflinks have a swivel design that allows them to be
slipped through a garment and then swivelled smoothly to secure. They
carry the STERLING signature.
Age: c.1970
Material: Goldtone metal.
Measurements: 1.8cm across cufflink
face.
