è 1890s Victorian Silver and Ruby Glass Diamante Bar Brooch
è This stunning bar brooch is a wonderful example of the 1890s fashion trend that exploded onto the scene. Made from silver it has been designed with a large oval cut, ruby red glass stone that is encased within four Georgian style claws. From this, on either side the brooch is elegantly finished with two brilliant chattern diamantes. The pin lays behind, following the full length of the brooch with a Victorian original C catch. This is a beautiful item of antique jewellery and can be worn in many ways, perhaps through a scarf or indeed a high collar. ò
