1950's Aurora Borealis Cocktail Earrings
These stunning vintage earrings date back to the 1950's. Set with three deep purple marquis cut rhinestones, the design surrounds them with a variety of graduated sized AB stones, to create a leaf like or teardrop shape. The earrings are gilded in gold on the back and the studs for pierced ears. This is a fantastic item of vintage jewellery and great example of how the aurora borealis stone was used in high end costume jewellery.
