Victorian Large Black Pearl and Silver Cross Necklace

This magnificent antique necklace dates back to the post-Albert Victorian Era, where black jewels were favoured by the Queen and fashioned by all. The cross pendant is made up of 6 large black mother of pearl cabochon stones that are individually cased within solid silver that was soldered and set together to hang perfectly beneath a beautifully embossed loop. Placed upon an intricate rope weave solid silver chain, this Victorian pendant is a unique item of vintage jewellery.
