1914 Unusual Art Nouveau, Silver & Carved Jadeite Ring
This wonderful Art Nouveau ring incorporates an early 19thC Chinese jadeite carving of beautiful flowers. However, this piece uses Orange Jade as apposed to the green that is mostly found on jewellery from this period, which makes it rather more unusual. The Art Nouveau design is carried throughout the ring in it's entirety, all the way round the band as well. The ring is elegantly finished with curving intertwined floras on either side where the shank and band meet. This piece is stamped with its makers mark and also bears the 958 Britannia mark for Solid Silver.
