1960's Earrings & Brooch collectable Nielloware Set, by Siam Sterling
This fantastic Earring and Brooch Set are known in the east as Nielloware, a special type of Enamel and engraving that was created and mastered by the Siamese Jewellers in Thailand for their King. The figures that have been carved out of the enamel of these pieces, represent ancient mythological characters from the epic of Ramayana, a thousand years before the Buddhist's Event. Both stud earrings and the brooch of this set are Stamped 'Siam Sterling' and are enamelled and etched in the traditional style.
Note: earrings for pierced ears.
